It is a very nice resort with awesome beach and spectacular and big pools. Very nice colored leaves plants. Ecological, no fuel, all carts electrical. It had a few hiccups. Cooked food was generally good but could be much better with some seasoning. Imported food was luxurious and good.Sparkling wine was ok, but it was better at Iberostar as was the food seasoning.
I would come back, but wouldn't pay a maximum price. Wait for sales and go with basic rooms. For Cuba it was excellent. They should add a walk for disabled people and
people with luggage next to main and central alley, which is made of irregular stones and big irregular spaces in between.
Staff were generally very nice and efficient, some were just efficient others just nice. They didn't wait for tips, but we tipped for a good service and more to exceptional waiters.

Entertainment
Lobby bands also same bands played at the beach restaurnt sometimes exceptional.
Shows a bit disaponting although very nice it was only 40 minutes, and no cuban danse which we love. At the end of the show only
sometimes a few minutes cuban danse and that was awesome, they should replace the show with cuban dance. Little girl dancing fabulous.
Why do mediocre ballet or circus when cuban dance is awesome and any cuban can do it.
In general this hotel being more luxurious is probably addressed at an older crowd. There were still families, but kids entertainment was short
about 20 minutes.
Beach party, pool party. Christmas party and dance with some more circus.
Bars
Bars
Lobby: margarita too strong, servce 2 nights inexistent; but 5 days service was good.
Drinks were sometimes too strong, not necessirily better and some used artificial juice.
Beach: there was a fantastic waiter who could get me even wine or cava anytime. The last day guy wasn't as good. The beach itself is amazing
white sand and cleaned daily. It is big and not afected by tides.
We tried ice cream kiosk and los churros. The latter were painfully made with an old machine and the wait was long. Really? why not use a simple baker pouch, much easier and faster.
They were good, but won't compare with European versions.
24/7 snack bar had good grilled sandwiches and fries. The menu is brought to you, but it is useless, since most items were missing. The guy told us what he had and we chose.
Plenty of beach chairs.

Christmas
Christmas day the buffet moved to the beach, and that was nice, but most people didn't close covers after serving themselves, so watch for insects.
Christmas eve: No big spectacular decoration, but some cute decor in desert corner. Boats full of cava.
They brought red apples and raisins exotic fruits in Cuba
The food and drinks were good, but Iberostar Mojito has a much better chef and better drinks. All was so tasty there, although they had less daily luxuries, everything was better cooked.
Melia may want to invite their chef for some cooking classes.
