We decided to go back to Cayo Coco and beneit from our son's last time kids discount. So, I booked with Air Transat this time because of better flying times in the morning and during the day. Sunwing last trip was very good, however this time they had also abolished food. The price as slightly higher, but not waking up at 2AM hepls to get a better first day. We chose the same hotel Iberostar Mojito in Superior room. Well, about 1 month before the trip itravel2000 has contacted us since our hotel would have no beach due to damage by huricanes and needed to be resanded. We were offered an upgrade to Melia Jardines, a more expensive and newer hotel with just resanded magnificent beach.
Melia is a big name and the expectations are usually big, in my revew I compare it to other luxurious hotels.
I brought our own food: boiled eggs, deli sandwiches for the plane. At the Airport we have a NBC VIP lounge access, so could have some food and drinks there. My own food was way better than airplane food and much less expensive. The flight was good.
